As MODEC does business around the globe thought and effort goes into how we can help develop the communities near our operations. MODEC employs natives of more than 25 different countries. We truly are a global company, and as such operate to bring value to as many economies as possible.

70 percent of the employees of the MODEC Singapore office are citizens of Singapore.

MODEC estimates that with materials purchased and people employed, as well as visiting employees and clients, approximately 330 million US dollars were added to the Singaporean economy in 2006.

In our operations offshore Brazil, 80 percent of our employees are Brazilian. Our Brazilian employees are enthusiastic about giving back to the community and have developed several programs to provide for needy families.

MODEC has projects and/or operations in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Cote d'Ivoire, Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and the United States and utilizes local personnel to support our project execution and operation activities. In addition, MODEC is in the process of establishing an office in Angola.
