Mr. Kenji Yamada is President and Chief Executive Officer of MODEC, Inc. He joined MODEC in 1971 and until mid-80's he engaged in various offshore engineering projects that included design/engineering & construction of offshore facilities including jack-up drilling rigs and single point mooring systems for tanker loading terminals. Mr. Yamada served as a Project Manager for MODEC's first FPSO project Kakap Natuna, which was completed in 1985. He was named Director in 1997 and President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2001.

Mr. Yamada has led MODEC through an incredible growth period including the addition of Tension Leg Platforms and Semi-Submersibles to MODEC's product line as well as the acquisition of SOFEC, Inc. (a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of turret and mooring systems) and 20 percent ownership in NATCO Japan Co., Ltd. (a supplier of machinery and equipment for separation and production of oil and gas). Most recently, Mr. Yamada was instrumental in signing a joint development agreement with Velocys Inc. and Toyo Engineering Corporation for developing and commercializing gas to liquids technology for the offshore oil and gas industry.

Mr. Yamada graduated from Tokyo University in Natural Resource (Oil & Gas) Development Engineering and finished Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP) in fall 1999.

Mr. Nobuhiro Yaji is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of MODEC, Inc. He has more than 35 years of professional experience in marine facility engineering and construction. He joined MODEC in 1971 and has held positions with increased responsibility throughout the years. He spent four years (1978-1982) in the United States managing a shipyard facility for MODEC. Since 1984, Mr. Yaji has been responsible for project development, execution, and controls as well as commercial aspects of numerous floating production facilities. He was appointed to the MODEC board of directors in 1999 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2003.

Mr. Yaji is responsible for the global sales, project development and project execution. He is also responsible for the global operations and asset management of more than ten FPSO/FSOs that MODEC owns and operates as well as the units owned by clients and operated and maintained by MODEC.

Mr. Yaji graduated from Kyushu University in Japan with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and finished Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP) in 2000.

Mr. Shashank Karve is Director of MODEC, Inc. He joined MODEC in 1990 as a project manager and has more than 25 years of experience with floating production systems. Mr. Karve became Chief Operating Officer of MODEC USA in 1996 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MODEC International LLC from 2001-2008 March. He has served on the MODEC board of directors since 2004.

Mr. Karve graduated from Indian Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture. He received a post graduate degree from National Center for Software Development and Computing Techniques in India and a Master's degree in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
