FPSO Raroa

The FPSO Raora is operating in the Maari field located in the South Taranaki Bight approximately 80 km off the coast of Taranaki New Zealand.

The FPSO, a converted Aframax tanker with storage capacity of 600,000 bbls, is capable of processing 35 mmscfd of gas and 45,000 barrels of oil per day.

The FPSO started the oil production in 2009. MODEC took over the operations and maintenance contract in October 2012 and has been providing O&M services since March 2013.
