FPSO Cidade do Rio de Janeiro MV14
The FPSO Cidade do Rio de Janeiro MV14 is located on the 1-RJS-409/4-RJS-415 area of the Espadarte Sul field approximately 100 kilometers offshore Campos. The FPSO is installed in 1,350 meters water depth.
The FPSO is capable of processing 100,000 barrels of oil per day, compressing 87 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, injecting 113,000 barrels of water per day and having a storage capacity of 1,600,000 barrels.
The FPSO achieved first oil on January 9, 2007. MODEC owns and operates the FPSO for an initial eight (8) years with four (4) additional one-year option periods.
