For sustainable growth, MODEC considers Group-wide Total Quality Management (TQM) to be a key initiative along with governance, compliance, and risk management.
TQM Goals
MODEC's goals with TQM are to:
- 1focus on clients’ needs and expectations to foster a positive working partnership.
- 2ensure that MODEC’s strategic plan is understood, applied, and achieved Group-wide.
- 3develop and maintain the processes necessary to fulfil MODEC’s strategies utilizing the Integrated Management System (IMS).

- 5develop a culture where leadership and employees understand how they contribute to the clients’ experience.
MODEC believes that achieving these goals will lead to win the trust and confidence of stakeholders, developing long-lasting, strong, friendly relationships with loyal customers. To realize this philosophy, MODEC has established the "MODEC QUALITY COMMITMENT" and is rolling it out throughout the MODEC Group.

TQM Initiatives
MODEC's TQM initiatives focus on the following areas.
- 1
MODEC and Client Partnerships
MODEC strives to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with its clients, fostering a mindset of working "with clients" instead of "for clients" to address their needs for innovative solutions. MODEC actively seeks feedback from clients to understand their requirements, and quickly and jointly resolve any concerns. - 2
Leadership and Strategic Planning
MODEC sets the company’s long-term direction through its Vision, Mission, and Core Values. To realize the mission and vision, every MODEC Group entity establishes quality goals, quality objectives and quality plans, and manages and promotes progress toward achieving these goals. - 3
Integrated Management System (IMS)
MODEC has established the IMS applicable to all the MODEC Group companies. The IMS integrates all business processes and procedures at MODEC with the ISO management standard requirements for Quality (ISO9001/ISO29001), Environment (ISO14001), Occupational Health and Safety (ISO45001), as well as the requirements of various treaties and regulatory authorities, clarifying management procedures and authority.
MODEC Inc. (head office) is the ISO certificate holder and the owner of ISO9001/14001/45001/29001 for MODEC Group, serving as a central function under the International Accreditation Forum Rules (IAF MD 1:2023), and where operational control and authority from the organization's top management is exercised over all sites. - 4
Continuous Improvement
MODEC monitors performance through various means, including trend analyses of product and service realization, customer feedback, nonconformities, and incidents, as well as the results of internal audits and management reviews. The evaluation results and lessons learnt guide leadership in making decisions for the continuous improvement of products and services, the IMS, and strategic planning for the organization. - 5
Quality Culture
Quality output is the responsibility of everyone working at MODEC. Leadership is responsible for communicating the corporate policies and the importance of meeting customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements to employees within their respective departments. Employees are informed about how their work impacts clients’ experience with MODEC. When everyone at MODEC understands how their work affects clients, our quality consciousness becomes intrinsic to our products and services.
