EPCI Project Execution
MODEC specializes in the execution of complex, large floating production systems EPCI projects covering project management (including customer relationships management), design and detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, and offshore installation works. Our project execution model provides strong emphasis on HSE, Quality, Sustainability and Compliance in all areas of customer coordination, design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.
We select the most suitable vendors, contractors and shipyards from all over the world to undertake the conversion of existing vessels or construction of new hulls, fabrication of topsides module facilities, fabrication of mooring system components, manufacturing of offloading equipment and installation of all completed equipment on board the units. We also has a pool of talented personnel and robust systems of project management, engineering, procurement, construction and installation.
A high degree of standardization has been achieved in our EPCI execution by virtue of our years of experience in the offshore Oil and Gas business and the Lessons Learned over the years.
We have developed strong relationships and experience with several leading contractors and shipyards from all over the world and select the most optimal solution while outsourcing the construction of hulls, fabrication of the topsides facilities, mooring system components, manufacturing of offloading equipment and installation of all completed equipment on board the units.
After successful completion of the systems and facilities at the offshore location, we hand over the floating production systems to customers or our affiliated companies for the start of the production service.
We remain engaged with our customers to receive feedback for continuous improvement of our EPCI delivery.
Evolving FPSO
FPSOs and other floating production systems are becoming larger and more complex as we move to larger offshore oil fields and deeper water depths for offshore oil and gas development projects. MODEC designs and builds a wide variety of floating production systems to meet the oil & gas industry ever-changing needs.

Digitalization
MODEC is promoting data centric EPCI delivery via digitalization as one of our key strategies for engineering and O&M services quality improvements, as well as the overall safety and production efficiency of our floating production systems. MODEC aims at further improving performance by feeding operational data knowledge gathered accross the MODEC fleet back into EPCI Project Execution.
