Hammerhead FPSO

The FPSO will be deployed at the Hammerhead field, offshore Guyana, which will have the capacity to produce 150,000 barrels of oil per day and will be moored at a water depth of approximately 1,025 meters using a SOFEC Spread Mooring System.


Following a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP), MODEC will start activities related to the FPSO design in two phases (phase one: Front-End Engineering and Design(FEED), phase two: Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) ) after the project will receive necessary government approval and will also provide Operation and Maintenance.

The FPSO will be MODEC’s second FPSO for use in Guyana, following FPSO Errea Wittu.
