The Stampede TLP is installed in water depth of approximately 1,067 m (3,500 ft) in the Gulf of Mexico.
The TLP supports a gross topsides processing capacity of 80,000 barrels of oil per day and 100,000 barrels of water injection per day. The development calls for six subsea production wells and four water injection wells from two subsea drill centers tied back to the TLP.
The Stampede deepwater oil and gas field is located approximately 185 km (115 mi.) south of Fourchon, La, in the Gulf of Mexico’s Green Canyon Blocks 468, 511 and 512.
MODEC has successfully performed the Engineering, Procurement Management, Construction Management (EPCM) and Installation Support of the hull and mooring systems (foundation piles, tendons and tendon support buoys) of the TLP.
The TLP was installed in May 2017. The first oil production was achieved in January 2018.
