M350™
MODEC Next Generation Standardized FPSO Design - M350
In 2017, MODEC initiated an in-house program to develop a series of new build hull designs that could be standardized based on the mooring concepts relevant to a particular field. These developments were planned and strategized together with DSIC Shipyard in China, so as to gather all MODEC's relevant FPSO and FSO related new built experience and design an optimized hull which will be easy to build and deliver with shorter duration when compared to customized, project specific FPSO hull designs.
The result of the program was the state-of-the-art, standardized FPSO hull that MODEC branded the M350. The M350 comes in four different variants:
- the M350i for internal turret mooring,
- the M350s for spread mooring,
- the M350e for external turret mooring and
- the M350y for tower yoke mooring.
